Creating an Enduring Legacy24th April, 2013

Modes user ‘The Northern Ireland War Memorial’ (NIWM), has been keeping Northern Ireland’s contribution to the home front in WW2 well in the public eye since it moved its iconic collection to a new gallery in Belfast in 2007. An annual programme of displays, education, outreach and specially themed events has attracted over 7,000 visitors a year, drawn from Northern Ireland, Southern Ireland and overseas.
